"Moon Knight," Marvel Comics
Tony de Zuniga was born and raised in Manila, The Philippines. He started doing comics in his teens and idolized the works of Francisco V. Coching and Nestor Redondo. He graduated from the University of Santo Thomas in Manila and started doing advertising work, eventually becoming art director for several of the largest agencies in the islands. It was during this time that he met his wife, with whom he had three daughters. A few years later they moved to the United States where he became an illustrator for Scholastic Publications. Soon he joined D.C. Comics where he worked on "Jonah Hex" and "Black Orchid." He also worked on superhero titles such as "Batman," "Superman" and "Supergirl."
"Medalyang Payak"
Tony de Zuniga returned to the Philippines in 1972, to recruit some of the best Filipino artists for D.C. and Marvel. When working for Marvel, he did most of the ilustrations for "Thor," "X-Men," "Punisher," and "Conan the Barbarian" for eight years. In need of a change of pace, he then found work doing conceptual designs for Sony, Universal and Sega, which he is still doing today.
